England had a record amount of rainfall in the 18 months to March - And April is now here and the weather is still pretty soggy. If the old adage 'March winds and April showers bring forth may Flowers' is anything to go by, it may well continue for a while longer.

But is there any truth in the old saying, and are we really fed up with all this rain in Lincolnshire?
