Marcus from Sneyd Green say he's been separated from his family by UK VISA rules. He's a British Citizen who lived in the Philippines with his wife and children for 10 years until being made redundant.
He wants to bring the UK but says the immigration rules mean he's unable to.
A 91福利社 Office spokesperson said:
鈥淚ncome from visa fees help fund the migration and borders system. It is only right that those who benefit from our system contribute towards its operation and reduce the burden on taxpayers.鈥
Background:
Fees for immigration and nationality applications are set at a level to provide the resources necessary to operate a sustainable Migration and Borders System.
Fee waivers are available for certain specified human rights applications for entry clearance and leave to remain, as well as for applications for child citizenship registration.
