Mohammed Ghalayini is currently living in the city but he normally is a resident of Manchester in northern England. He was visiting his relatives in Gaza eight weeks ago when Hamas massacred more than a thousand Israelis. Mohammed decided to stay on in Gaza, to remain with his family.
He told Newshour's Tim Franks what he'd seen and heard today in Khan Younis.
