Giving Liverpool Festival Gardens some TLC
Back in 1984, The International Gardens became a popular place for a great day out. After a difficult few years, they fell into disrepair.
Now Friends of Festival Gardens have plans to reveal their natural beauty and make them a destination in their own right again. After forming the group in July this year, the volunteers are now planning to clean up and restore one area at a time, starting with the much-loved Japanese garden.
