Amy, who’s now 23 years old, was fostered at 14 by Gig and ended up spending her summers with her teacher Jo.

Together they have formed ‘Messy Fostering’ and they have used their listener guest edit of the Today programme to talk about the highs and lows of fostering and everything in between.

For their programme Amy spoke to author and broadcaster Lemn Sissay about her "core anxiety" of feeling like something might go wrong after her experience in foster care.
