Just off the coast of Sussex in places like Shoreham, Worthing and Bognor Regis there's an underwater forest growing. The pioneering marine rewilding project aims to restore almost 200 square kilometres of lost kelp forest.

Kelp is the name given to a group of brown seaweeds, usually large in size, that are capable of forming dense aggregations known as 'kelp forests'. George Short from the Sussex Wildlife Trust told us more about the Sussex Kelp Recovery Project.
