Listen to the sounds of four habitats as we welcome the new season.

Featured in this soundscape:

- A Heather moorland with curlews, red grouse and skylark

- Deciduous woodland; with a dawn chorus of wren, mistle thrush, wood pigeon and great tit

- Urban spring; a blackbird in Chris鈥檚 garden at 0500 am and the snuffling of a hedgehog recently emerged from hibernation

- Courtship calls of eider ducks recorded in Amble harbour, Northumberland at the end
