'Too little, too late' on disclosure failings
The Crown Prosecution Service has revealed that 47 cases of rape and sexual assault were stopped after vital evidence was withheld from defence lawyers.
The chair of the Justice Select Committee Conservative MP Bob Neill told Radio 4's World at One that although steps were being taken to improve the way the CPS works he does not "have confidence... that everything's been done to remove risks from miscarriages from disclosure in the system".
