Radio 4's PM programme has a definitive guide to each generation and asks which one had it the worst.

Millennials are the generation born between 1981 and 2000 according to research by the Resolution Foundation. They came of age after the millennium, are the first generation in which young women experienced equal access to higher education, but have seen housing costs rise steeply.
