It's home to a famous pudding, a breed of dog called a Terrier and ex England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott.
They won more medals than Jamaica, Spain, South Africa and Brazil at the London 2012 Olympics and has a population of just over 5 million.

And the proud English county, which is also known as God's Own county have formed their own football team and will be members of CONIFA - an association for regions and states not recognised by FIFA, the sport's international governing body.
Tryouts for the team are this Sunday. Ryan Farrell is the head coach.
