What do Advent Candles symbolise?
Advent 2017 officially begins on Sunday 3rd December. For Christians, Advent defines a season of symbolic 'waiting' and preparation for the day marking Christ鈥檚 birth. Each of the five candles has a specific meaning rooted in scripture. Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin explains more.
