Ex-England midfielder Jermaine Jenas says Arsenal鈥檚 10-2 aggregate defeat by Bayern Munich represents a 鈥減ivotal moment鈥� in the club鈥檚 history.
The German champions matched the first-leg scoreline from a fortnight ago, winning 5-1 at Emirates Stadium, to complete the biggest aggregate defeat for an English club in the Champions League.
鈥淚t feels as if this is a moment where there needs to be a cleansing or a fresh beginning,鈥� Jenas said.
鈥淭hey should be competing within Europe鈥檚 biggest competition, it鈥檚 as simple as that. I don鈥檛 feel the board have an argument to appease the fans anymore,鈥� he added.
