Carswell 'should stay' in UKIP says fellow Tory defector

Douglas Carswell, UKIP's only MP, should stay in the party according to ex-MP and fellow defector from the Conservatives Mark Reckless.

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage has used a newspaper article to demand Mr Carswell leaves the party, saying he has been "actively working against UKIP".

However Mr Reckless, who is now a member of the Welsh Assembly and economic spokesman for UKIP says this public warfare is unhelpful.
