Labour's shadow Brexit secretary has criticised the Prime Minister for her "threat" to the EU "to destroy our economic model and have a bargain basement economy."

Keir Starmer said it was "the sting in the tail" of Theresa May's much anticipated Brexit speech in which she set out the UK's priorities for negotiations to leave the EU.
