Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg says a Trump presidency will be better for the UK, calling the election and the Brexit vote the "triumph of optimism".

The former Labour Leader Ed Miliband says this a "delusional fantasy".

"The idea that we have shared values with a racist, misogynistic self-confessed groper beggars belief," he said.
