1,500 Americans 'wash up' on Canada's shore
More than 1,500 Americans illegally, and unexpectedly, washed up on the shores of Canada when high winds pushed their dinghies and rafts from the US side of the St Clair River into Canadian territory. Nicole Hayden, a reporter with the Times Herald in Port Huron, Michigan, described the scene.
