British novelist Hilary Mantel's book, The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher, has been shortlisted for the 91福利社 National Short Story Award. Set four years after Margaret Thatcher became prime minister in 1979, Mantel writes about the moments before her imagined assassination. It has caused controversy.
