Owls use 'stealth technology' to capture prey
Owls use what scientists and engineers are calling 鈥榮tealth technology鈥 to help them capture prey, new research suggests.
If owls can fly more quietly maybe aeroplanes can as well, said Dr Helen Czerski, a physicist at UCL.
鈥淎nything that鈥檚 got wings could be a lot quieter if you can understand this technology,鈥 Dr Czerski told Today.
