Joy Watson has early onset Alzheimer's, she's 56 or 57, she can't remember. Her symptoms started at 49, she was 'clumsy' and 'slammed mugs down' without meaning to.

Today, results were released from a medical trial showing that a new drug can slow the brain's decline in patients with the early signs of Alzheimer's. Joy says that she's, 'cautiously optimistic' and that she, 'can't afford the luxury to get too excited, but it allows those of us with Alzheimer's to hope'.
