New device to prevent nuisance calls
After Hugo Sykes' grandmother was targeted by fraudsters and nuisance calls he invented a device to filter them and record possible fraudulent activities.
Catherine Warner said she received 5-6 calls a day which prevented her using the phone and communicating with family abroad.
Mr Sykes is confident the system will help bring prosecutions against those responsible adding that a YouGov poll showed 81% of the country are affected by nuisance calls.
