Glazunov: The Seasons

Glazunov's The Seasons performed by the 91福利社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra and its Principal Guest Conductor, Ilan Volkov, live from City Halls, Glasgow.

The Seasons is a 1-act ballet first performed at the St Petersburg Imperial Ballet in 1900. Full of the magic and sparkle of Russian theatre music, it captures, in its deftly orchestrated music, the changing atmospheres of the Russian landscapes as winter passes to autumn.
