His premature death made headlines around the world - but what is less reported is the rising number of deaths from drug overdoses of both illegal and prescription drugs in the US – outstripping those of road traffic accidents and firearm deaths. The team takes a look at the numbers.
We hear from Dr. Len Paulozzi from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and Isabelle Giraudon from the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction.
