Scottish annular eclipse 2003

In 2003 Sir Patrick Moore visited the most Northerly shores mainland of Scotland to see a Highland Ring or annular eclipse. This infrequent event happens when the Moon passes in front of the Sun, but reveals just a sliver of the Suns edge. Patrick was joined by Queen guitarist Brian May.
