The Gulf island kingdom of Bahrain promised sweeping police reforms after a harsh crackdown on anti-government protestors in 2011 left more than 50 people dead. Two years on the government says it is making good progress. But as unrest continues, amidst on-going allegations of police brutality, the opposition says the promised police reforms are nothing more than window dressing.
