Cloudwalker at the London Jazz Festival
The prodigious jazz sax sensation Emma Rawicz, a current Radio 3 New Generation Artist, is joined by an all-star line up for her CLOUDWALKER project at EFG London Jazz Festival.
The brilliant young jazz saxophonist Emma Rawicz has assembled a formidable and truly international line-up for her CLOUDWALKER project. Along with her regular collaborators Rasmus S酶rensen, Freddie Jensen and Marc Michel, Emma is joined at the EFG Jazz Festival by the star-American trumpeter Philip Dizack as she explores the boundaries of what is possible in the quintet. And, as its name suggests, Cloudwalker embraces a sky-bound musical vision, with the band reaching upward toward an expansive and unbounded creative landscape with a mix of Nordic clarity, contemporary classical harmony, rock-driven intensity and Brazilian grooves.
