Susan Calman on the Bullfinch
Tweet of the Day is a series of fascinating stories about birds inspired by their calls, songs and behaviour.
Standing at the window one day, comedian Susan Calman sees what she thinks is a crisp packet stuck in her garden hedge. She was about the leave the house to dispose the object when it moves in a very 'un-crisp packet' way. She's soon discovers that the visitor is a bullfinch and becomes mesmerised watching them in her garden.
