Tom Service talks to Jakub Hr暖拧a, Music Director of the Royal Opera.

This week, conductor Jakub Hr暖拧a, Music Director at the Royal Opera, and Chief Conductor of Bamberg Symphony, joins Tom to talk about his many projects. Not only does he balance those two roles, but he's set to take the helm at the Czech Philharmonic from 2028.

Tom also meets, ahead of her 100th birthday, the impresario Lilian Hochhauser, to hear stories of how she brought Soviet artists like David Oistrakh, Dmitry Shostakovich and Mstislav Rostropovich to Britain during the Cold War years.

And on Halloween, this week's Creator is composer and saxophonist Colin Stetson, who gives the lowdown on his groundbreaking score for the film 'Hereditary'.
