Celebrating Nieve Ella's debut album
The Albrighton artist is in conversation after hitting the charts. Plus the Staffordshire act whose tracks are getting the orchestral treatment. With Phillip Stoneman.
Warning: This show may contain future headliners! Phillip Stoneman introduces the best new music from our area, including:
鈥 The big debut album is out and it's officially in the charts! We take a deep dive in to the first LP from Albrighton's Nieve Ella. For whom it all started on this show right here.
鈥 It's the event which shapes the future of dance music. Hear from the Worcester, Cleobury Mortimer and Nantwich acts who had the time of their lives at ADE, achieving career milestones and massive exposure amongst the canals of Amsterdam.
鈥 In the Music News: How Evesham's Ciiara Nyx fared in The Voice UK semi-finals, why Congleton's biggest music export is lending his support to a 13th century Cheshire church and the massive milestone achieved for the family of a Shropshire singer.
鈥 Brought up on a diet of Evanescence and the rolling hills of rural Staffordshire, get to know Oakamoor's queen of gothic music, Julia Mosley. She plays all over the world, nurtures the next generation and now her music is being given the orchestral treatment.
鈥 A postcard from sunnier climes, we're in Portugal catching up with Shrewsbury band Acrobvt, surfing the waves and the crowds, after completing a mammoth 27-date tour with noughties pop legend Anastacia.
鈥 She's been compared to Victoria Wood and Catherine Cohen: Get to know Anna Byrne, the Malvern songwriter making the menopause musical, clocking up millions of views in the process.
