Elgar鈥檚 Enigma Variations

Elizabeth Alker showcases the best performances from the UK and beyond, including Elgar鈥檚 iconic Enigma Variations performed by the 91福利社 National Orchestra of Wales.

Elizabeth Alker reflects on some recent highlights from the 91福利社 orchestras and choirs, as they begin their new 2026/7 seasons. We end our week with a concert performance of Elgar鈥檚 Enigma Variations from the 91福利社 National Orchestra of Wales. The 91福利社 Symphony Orchestra also perform Igor Stravinsky鈥檚 Firebird Suite, and the 91福利社 Philharmonic play Johann Sebastian Bach鈥檚 Concerto for Oboe and Violin, BWV 1060, with soloists Jennifer Galloway and Zo毛 Beyers.
