Paris is home to more award-winning pastry chefs than anywhere else in the world. Here, the day revolves around patisserie. Morning begins with the buttery flakes of a croissant. At midday, a baguette tucked under the arm signals lunch. And by the afternoon, mouthwatering sweet treats are savoured like miniature works of art.
Resistance is futile, and Eva is seduced by the Paris-Brest, a rum baba, the macaron, a mango cake and dahlia, to name just a few.
