Finn Family Moomintroll
It is Spring in Moominvalley, and the Moomins wake from their winter sleep to discover that magic, mystery and adventure await them in the unexpected form of a Hobgoblin’s hat.
Finn Family Moomintroll, by Tove Jansson, adapted by Robin Brooks, is another chapter in the astonishing, marvellous, always comic and often thought-provoking adventures of the Moomins.
Moomintroll and his friends wake from their long winter sleep to discover that the legendary Hobgoblin has dropped his hat in Moominvalley. Anything put into this hat will undergo a magical transformation, but it takes a while for them to understand this, during which time several things go into the hat with unfortunate consequences, including Moomintroll himself.
How will the Moomins cope with the hat, with a terrifying visit from the Groke, and finally with the reappearance of the hat’s owner? All will be revealed to those wise souls who tune in to listen to Finn Family Moomintroll.
Reuniting the team that brought you Moominland Midwinter, Comet in Moominland and Moominsummer Madness, John Finnemore reprises the role of Moomintroll, and Moominpappa is once again played by Samuel West.
