From the enchanting orchestral world of Joe Hisaishi鈥檚 music for Howl's Moving Castle to the unresolved passion of Tristan und Isolde and the tragic drama of Romeo and Juliet, this programme explores some of music鈥檚 most compelling portrayals of human emotion. Performed with the energy and ambition of the nation鈥檚 leading youth orchestra, these works reveal enduring stories of desire, destiny and transformation.
