Episode Four: The 2010s and Now
SHERELLE on some of her favourite club nights: BBZ for women and female-identifying POC; PXSSY PALACE, whose manifesto revolutionised nightlife; and 'Indian Studio 54’ Hungama.
In this final episode SHERELLE introduces us to some of her own favourite club nights and the music they made popular from the 2010s to now.
Featuring: BBZ, a night for women and female-identifying people of colour; PXSSY PALACE, the inclusive club that revolutionised queer nightlife with its manifesto for safe clubbing; HE.SHE.THEY the global collective recognising the Black, Brown and queer people who pioneered dance music; the pure techno, sweat-drenched Sunday marathon that is Unfold; and Hungama, a night that fuses South Asian culture with queer clubbing - known to its friends as ‘the Indian Studio 54’.
