Kate Molleson introduces a programme of contemporary music, including music by Michael Finnissy and a world premiere performance of Cassandra Miller’s The Years.

Kate Molleson presents new and recent music from leading composers and performers, including music from Alexander Hawkins’ latest album with Rhodri Davies, Nicole Mitchell and Hamid Drake, alongside Brian Irvine’s violin concerto À mon seul désir, performed by Darragh Morgan with the Ulster Orchestra conducted by David Brophy.
There is also experimental samba from Brazilian composer Marco Scarassatti and performances from the Ulster Orchestra featuring music by Jack Sheen and Otto Ketting. From the Witten Festival for New Chamber Music, Kate introduces works by Michael Finnissy, and the world premiere of Cassandra Miller’s The Years, a work for the vocal ensemble Exaudi and string trio exploring themes of time and mortality.
