Poet Daljit Nagra explores the 91福利社's poetry archive and selects Adventures in Poetry - Casabianca by Felicia Hemans - the poem which is best known for its first line: - "The boy stood on the burning deck....".

This poem was written about a true episode that happened during the Battle of the Nile in the Napoleonic wars by a poet who in her time was as popular as Wordsworth, Coleridge and Byron.
