Vet Scott Rigg is an orthopedic surgeon and is treating a lame labrador when an emergency case comes in - a French bulldog with a serious spinal problem. A CT scan shows that she needs immediate surgery, which means the team working into the evening.

At Highland Wildlife Park, Jane Harley is examining a cat that has been brought to the Park that could be a Scottish wildcat. They are an endangered species and it would be a valuable find if this turns out to be a candidate for the Park鈥檚 conservation breeding programme.

And in Benbecula, Ealasaid Dick has been called out, as a crofter on the west of the island is having some problems with his flock at lambing time.
