Breaking Free - the minds that changed music. Penny Gore presents a week of Afternoon on 3 comprising EBU and 91福利社 performing groups as part of Radio 3's celebration of the Second Viennese School. Today begins with a live concert from the 91福利社 Philharmonic. Martyn Brabbins conducts the orchestra in a Schoenberg-themed concert, including his work as an arranger. Then back to the studio with Penny Gore, and performances of Webern's Variations for Orchestra and Berg's Chamber Concerto Op.8
