The Celebrity Traitors series 2 contestants reveal whether they'd rather be a Traitor or Faithful as Claudia Winkleman talks fashion, long fringes and why she had to "hide in a bush until I composed myself"

The time for talk is over... the fingerless gloves are ON!

Published: 8 October 2026

A new group of celebrities play the ultimate game of detection, trust and betrayal in the hope of winning a cash prize up to 拢100,000 for a charity of their choice in The Celebrity Traitors series two.

Hidden amongst the group are The Traitors whose job is to secretly murder their fellow players, without getting caught. It鈥檚 up to the others, the Faithful, to try to detect the Traitors and banish them from the game before they become their next victim.

The lucky players who survive to the end have the chance of winning the money. If a Traitor remains undetected, however, they鈥檒l take it all.

The Celebrity Traitors is back! What did you think when you first heard who was taking part?

I couldn鈥檛 get over it. My bosses had to repeat the names at least three times. We鈥檙e so lucky they said yes.

Did any of the names surprise you?

Everyone taking part is fantastic. We are honoured they wanted to play the game.

How did you keep the celebrity cast a secret?

I say absolutely nothing about everything. I still won鈥檛 reveal who won series one. People say 鈥渋t鈥檚 okay, it鈥檚 been on TV鈥 but still, nothing from me.

Did you come across any of the players elsewhere in the lead up to filming and did any of them let slip they were taking part?

Nobody said a thing. It鈥檚 always better that way.

You seem to enjoy watching the drama unfold, is it ever difficult not to give away your reactions?

An overly long fringe helps. It鈥檚 a privilege to be able to watch people play the game. I try and disappear into the walls at the Round Table. I feel extremely lucky I鈥檓 part of this show.

Speaking of your facial expressions, with a number of comedians in the lineup this year, did any of them try and break you by making you laugh?

They all made me laugh. They are all utterly brilliant and the funniest people on earth. Rob Beckett said something that made me hide in a bush until I composed myself.

How much fun is it watching the celebrities take on the missions?

They excelled at the missions. Amazing teamwork and they just really wanted to build the prize pot.

Your outfits have become quite the talking point since the series began. In the past you鈥檝e named various celebrity inspirations for your looks from Princess Anne to Ronnie Corbett, has anyone inspired the outfits this series?

It went a little Artful Dodger for this series. I borrow a lot of the clothes and the shops / designers were horrified when I asked if we could dip the clothes in tea.

Some of this year鈥檚 players are also known for their love of fashion, who would you say is really bringing their own chic castle looks this year?

They鈥檙e all tremendous.

You had a lovely reunion with the series one celebrities at the BAFTAs earlier this year, did any of them try to find out about this year鈥檚 game from you?

I love them so much. They didn鈥檛 ask, we were too busy cuddling each other.

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I've been playing a version of The Traitors since I was 10 years old when I joined The Television Workshop. I've had game evenings and hosted them at my house and been to other鈥檚 evenings so I'm familiar with the game. I love it so much, and that was really my reason why. I was working on a production at the time of the last Celebrity Traitors 鈥 It鈥檚 called Maya which was filmed in Scotland, actually. We were all watching and so excited about it, and then we ended up playing a crew game.

It sounds like you鈥檙e very well prepared, would you agree?

I was playing a game as recently as two days ago. I was at my friend's birthday, and we played. And a few weeks before that, I'd been hosting a game evening, so I've been playing it pretty regularly!

You鈥檝e got a little Rubik's Cube on the go even as we speak now. You appear to be a big fan of games, are you competitive?

I do like games. I鈥檓 competitive to the level that I want to feel like I've done a good job. Not necessarily to win or triumph over others but to know I鈥檝e played my best game. I feel the same about this. I want to stay in because I want to play the game. I just really enjoy it.

What do your friends and family make of you taking part in this?

They're very excited, especially my family. There are some real fans of The Traitors in my family. Seeing the cast list come out, there are people that my sister is so excited about, people that we watched growing up together. I'm very excited to play with Miranda. Her show was so brilliant, and I just love her so that鈥檚 really exciting.

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

Instinctive, measured, and perceptive.

Do you see yourself as being a leader, a bit of a lone wolf, a team player?

I'm going to be a friend to all.

Do you think you're better at telling lies or spotting them?

I鈥檓 definitely not good at telling them. I wouldn鈥檛 say I鈥檓 good at spotting them, but I am good at spotting changes in behaviour. No matter who I get selected to be, I'll be playing the character I鈥檓 given essentially. I'm not a good liar, I'm a terrible liar, so I can't do it that way. The best way for me would be treating this just like I鈥檓 playing a character, but myself within the character.

Do you think that your acting skills will really help?

I do think they can give you a bit of an edge. For me, anyway, because again, if I was telling a lie, people would spot me instantly. Playing a character, it's like that's what I do!

You've played some pretty fierce, forthright, and gutsy roles. Is that going to help you really stand your ground at the Round Tables and put across your opinions?

The characters that I've played are definitely not like me in that way! When it comes to this, I will be keeping my opinions to myself until I feel it鈥檚 absolutely the right time to share them. I'm going to be very selective about when I make a claim, an observation, and how vehemently I stick to it. I will be very selective. I think when I do, and if I ever do really know something or feel like I have a bold thing to say that I feel very confident in, then I will say so in a way that I think I will be able to stand my ground.

This all goes back to you saying you're going to be measured. What do you think you'd find harder, if you were wrongfully accused or if you had to deceive others?

Wrongfully accused. There鈥檚 only so much you can do if you're wrongfully accused. In the defending of yourself, you just sound suspicious no matter what.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness?

My biggest strength will be watching and listening, my biggest weakness will be laughing. I can get the giggles and whether I'm otherwise suspicious or not, that makes me look suspicious.

Are you excited for the Missions?

Yes. I'm quite sporty, and I've done a lot of stunt work on most jobs that I've done. I find that side of things really exciting. I love doing physical things and I love a challenge, especially a physical challenge, so the Missions are one of the things I鈥檓 most excited about.

Are you hoping to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

I would love to be a Traitor, I really would, but I'm also okay with being a Faithful. I think being a Traitor can make things a bit more stressful, but in a way that's exciting to me. I think that I will last longer in the game as a Traitor, you've only got one way to lose the game rather than two.

Would your approach in taking on the game differ whether a Traitor or a Faithful?

My approach is exactly the same. If I do get selected, because everyone has their eyes shut, I want to let myself react and grin to get it all out in a silent way before I have to be serious.

James Acaster

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I just love it. I'm a huge fan and have been since series one. I instantly got addicted to it when I started watching. I think I started watching it halfway through the first series, so I was catching up on iPlayer. I did all of it in one night and then got really frustrated that I had to wait for all the other episodes. And then I really loved the first Celebrity series and instantly became jealous that I wasn't doing it. I had to get in here!

Do you know anyone that did it last time?

I know some of the comics. I saw both Joe Wilkinson and Nick Mohammed after they'd done it and l said, "Yo, congrats! It was great!鈥 They talked to me a bit about what it was like for them. I think they both had different experiences. Joe was very laid back, and Nick was very much trying to crack the case. I think I'm going to be a mix of the two.

Do you quite like games and puzzles and figuring things out?

I do, but I'm not very competitive. I just like how fun they are, the joy in trying to do the thing rather than determined to come out on top. It does mean I鈥檓 never too disappointed.

Are you looking forward to the Missions?

I am actually because I think that we're doing a lot of knocking around a castle and it will be nice to just get outside. It's a beautiful part of Scotland. Growing up, I was in the Scouts so it's going to be nice to get back to that. I haven't had that in my life for a long time.

Have you done anything to prepare apart from the years of Scouting?

Years of scouting and I do my morning crossword. That keeps me mentally agile.

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

Absolutely no touching. Not letting anyone touch me, because I'm not getting murdered in plain sight.

Apart from Claudia, she might need to touch your shoulder if you鈥檙e selected as a Traitor鈥

Yeah, I hope that doesn't happen. I鈥檇 like to be a Faithful. This is the only time I鈥檒l be able to play it, and I like being in a position of figuring something out rather than having the information the Traitors have.

You may need to be good at bluffing and deception. What's the biggest lie you've ever got away with?

If I tell you, I haven't got away with it anymore. I'm not good at lying and I don't make a habit of it. Maybe the biggest lie I've ever got away with was telling Ed Gamble I'm not doing The Celebrity Traitors.

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in this game?

I do all the New York Times puzzles in the morning. Could be useful. I don't know if drumming is going to come in handy, but I do that too. I don't think it will, but who knows.

Lots of comedians taking part this year鈥

Which is a concern. There will be suspicions that it鈥檚 going to be at least one of these guys, that we might form an alliance if we鈥檙e not broken apart. I think we're going to be the first ones under the magnifying glass being looked at. Particularly at the beginning when you have absolutely nothing to go on. And then you consider that a comedian won last year with Alan Carr disarming everyone with jokes the whole time. He has tainted us all! Hannah Fry will probably tell you that probability-wise, there鈥檚 most likely to be at least one comic chosen as a Traitor because there's enough of us. Even though it could obviously easily be three people who aren't comedians鈥 don't know how it works out, but if maths turns against us we're in big trouble.

Do you think you can win this?

Do YOU think I can?

Yeah, why not

I have genuinely no idea at all. Because every time I watch any of the series there seems to be no rhyme or reason. People can be really quiet, and they make it to the end. People are huge characters, and they make it to the end. You can be quiet and go under the radar; you can be a big character and end up putting yourself in the firing line. Anyone could get to the end. You can avoid murder or banishment by simply not being respected enough to be seen as a threat. And I think I could very easily be seen as not a threat. Yeah, I could be there to the end. It鈥檚 anyone鈥檚 game really.

Why did you decide to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Because 鈥 I鈥檓 going to say it - it鈥檚 the best show on TV. The first series was just such phenomenally good television, and I didn鈥檛 think that it could be bettered, and then the celeb series came along. The last episode was beautiful. That first year I sent a DM on Twitter, which was not responded to, to Studio Lambert to ask if they could send me all the rushes. I just was so hit by it and wanted more. I am just thrilled to be part of the universe of The Traitors and to have been asked. I have no idea how to play it. I don't think you can particularly. I think you just have to let it play itself a little bit.

Have you spoken to anyone that did it last year?

I texted Joe Wilkinson and asked, 鈥榳hat are the toilet facilities like in the castle?鈥 and he said, 鈥榯hey鈥檙e fine unless you went in after Claudia.鈥 So there we go. I asked Alan Carr for advice of 鈥榟ow to spot a rotten little Traitor like you鈥 and he said, 鈥榡ust anyone that's sweating and giggling.鈥

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

Both. I want to start as a Faithful and then be converted. I think I鈥檇 find it very stressful being a Traitor, but I think you only get one chance to have a go at it, don't you?

You do so many things that shine a light on social injustices and you have campaigned for so much good, might we see a treacherous side to you?

I think I'll enjoy either role. Being a Faithful is probably a much nicer experience because you don't have all the cognitive load of having to lie all the time, and you get to go to bed earlier.

But you don鈥檛 get a cloak. However, you're known for your brightly coloured, flamboyant outfits so it would be a shame to cover those. Have you got some good looks for the castle?

I think so. There's a lot of variety and silly stuff that I might not get to wear at all if I end up doing a Paloma. I鈥檒l just wear them for the supermarket shop if that happens.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf?

It depends on the context. I sometimes lead teams when I do TV shows, things like that. You're kind of the head of the ship, but I have been described by friends as a lone wolf because I really love my own company and I'm not very reactive, so I don't respond in the moment to things. I will take information in, and then I'll go away and think about it, and then respond with a year to 10 year long campaign to destroy the person who's wronged me.

How do you feel about taking on the Missions?

That's the bit I'm most excited about. I've been trying to get fitter and stronger over the last few months, just for my own well-being and to be a better father and all of that. I'm incredibly strong now. As strong as an ox. Fierce as well. As fierce as a tiger. As agile as a fish. A fish that is agile.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive you and treat you in the game?

So, when I started doing stand-up, my on and off-stage persona were quite similar. I showed off at parties because I wanted attention and then, gradually, as I got that attention through doing stand-up, I could calm down in real life. When I鈥檓 not out on stage I鈥檓 very calm, thoughtful and peaceful. I think the comics know what I'm like on and off stage, but I think the others who, for the first time, will spend time with me not in 鈥榮how mode鈥 might see that as suspicious. I definitely come across assumptions of 鈥榦h, he's the gay comedian off the telly鈥 and I explain I've got a female partner and a son with said female partner. I鈥檓 really quite a tranquil individual when not in performance mode which may surprise some.

Miranda Hart

How does it feel to be here, about to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I'm very excited. I also feel slightly like I'm having an out-of-body experience, like I'm on some sort of tour of The Traitors, not actually going to be in it. So now I鈥檓 nervous. I'm nervited - nervous, and excited. I love a compound word.

Why did you decide to take part?

My decision making in life generally, and certainly work, is follow the joy. I haven't done much TV work for a long time, having only recently come out of long-term ill health issues and when I was offered this, my whole body sort of relaxed, I smiled, and I just wanted to jump about like a schoolgirl with joy. It's just fun. It's outdoors, it鈥檚 games. All the stuff I love. It's play basically. And I'm passionate about encouraging people to play more generally, and this game is that in spades. It鈥檚 a brilliant television show 鈥 the only flaw in taking part is that as a fan of the show it will be less fun to watch it with myself in it!

When it was announced you鈥檇 taken part, we saw you mentioned potential galloping鈥

When someone said on Instagram, "Oh, I hope you gallop in the castle,鈥 I foolishly replied, "Right, I now take that as a dare.鈥 So that was idiotic of me. I will have to at some point gallop down a corridor. I鈥檒l gallop when no one鈥檚 watching鈥r who would be the best person to encourage to gallop? I don't know. I mean, Kenny probably doesn't even know who I am. So, if I could get him to gallop鈥 could get a new generation galloping.

It's good to have you back on our screens, how are you feeling now?

I'm still living with elements of ME, and that brings fatigue and pain to manage, but I have come to a point where I feel well enough to step out, and that's also partly why I'm doing this. The joy of mucking about on television again will hopefully outweigh some of the challenges. And I think it will be challenging on my body, so it'll be interesting, and it'll take some courage as this is a big next step. When you live with a chronic illness, it's invisible, so people don't know that you're sitting there in pain. But then it reminds you that everybody's got their thing. So, I'm also really looking forward to making friends and looking after each other and hopefully they can carry me up a hill or whatever we're going to have to do!

Would you call yourself a team player, a leader or a bit of a lone wolf?

I鈥檓 a bit of all of those things. I think I'm a lone wolf in that I love my alone time. So being with people constantly all day will be very new for me (I鈥檒l either not stop talking or will have to tell people to pipe down!). But then I love being a team player because I used to be an athlete back in the day, so was part of sports teams which I always miss. I鈥檇 probably prefer to not be the leader but part of the team. Being in the ensemble is often better than being the lead role.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

Well, she says boldly at the beginning of the experience, I think I'm excellent at both. When I watch Would I Lie to You?, about 90% of the time I get it right. I very much see myself as a psychological sleuth with no training whatsoever and nothing to back that claim up. I like to think that I could guess when people are lying. I don't like lying in real life, but when it comes to playing games in the family or whatever, I'm scarily good at lying. Also, I鈥檝e been nominated for seven BAFTAs, never won one, and we've got Michael Sheen in the building. But you know鈥

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in the game?

My favourite thing in life is being in or on water. Love swimming. Love being on a boat. Sitting by a river, in a river, on a river, slash sea, slash loch. I don't mind a bit of cold water swimming. So, if there鈥檚 a mission that requires a large woman to bob about in water, I鈥檓 there.

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

Why did you say Traitor first?! Do you think I鈥檓 going to be a Traitor?

I know nothing鈥 you are wearing an outfit that is the same green as the Traitors鈥 cloaks already though鈥

Oh God! People are going to read into that. The game has begun before it's begun. I initially thought, well, I鈥檇 like to be a Traitor, because you feel like you're just having more of the experience, but now I've gone the other way and I want to be a Faithful. I think it would be more fun to try and guess. I like the idea of figuring it out, weeding them out and getting a Faithful win. And we can't let another stupid comedian as a Traitor win. None of that, please!

Are you still in touch with all of the cast Miranda?

Oh yes, we鈥檙e really good friends. I got messages in the WhatsApp group about this. Everyone鈥檚 so excited.

Why did you decide to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

This is like my dream. When the announcement came out with the lineup, friends were messaging, "You literally said you wanted to be on this show. That's so good鈥 because everyone knows I鈥檓 obsessed! I love this game.

We know you for your role as Harper Stern in Industry, an entirely more cutthroat world than The Traitors

I am nothing like Harper! I'm more of a kill them with kindness kind of girl rather than a blatantly bullish bulldog. I'll be interested to see how this one goes because I feel like I will be battling Harper's persona and the perception of her. All that said, I want to be a Traitor. Obviously!

Why would you like to be a Traitor?

For a lot of reasons, but one because I want to stay in the game as long as possible. And two because I think as a Faithful, this is going to be really hard for me.

I've studied it enough to know that people like me who come in as super fans are seen as huge threats and once you're a threat, it doesn't matter who you are, people are going to target you. As a Traitor at least I'll stay in the game long enough to prove myself a bit. It will be an insane uphill battle convincing people that I'm not Harper too! I've very deliberately planned the looks that I'm wearing to really separate and be seen as me and not that character. I've got my jewellery; my hair is different. I've really, really, really planned this.

Tell us more about the looks you have planned鈥

I just decided to make everything lighter, gentle, feminine. Everything is soft and knitted and cosy and entirely unlike her. There are no shoulder pads, I'm not wearing any suiting of any kind. I鈥檓 trying to position myself as far away from Harper as possible. It's also an exercise in me being quiet, which is really hard. It's like so about my personality. I鈥檒l have to try at the first Round Table to sit back, assess and to be really timid, like a deer in headlights.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf?

Truthfully, I see myself as a leader, but because I'm small, I'm dainty, and a woman I feel like the way that I tend to lead is usually through building community. I'm also an introvert by nature. I love to recharge alone. My alone time is really important to me so I think, in some ways, I might perceive myself as a lone wolf, but I think in practice, I'm more of a gentle leader.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

Spotting them for sure. I feel like I could spot a lie, but also I'm incredibly gullible.

What would be harder for you, being wrongfully accused or having to deceive others?

I feel like being wrongfully accused is hard because there's no way in this game to prove that you're not. It's just your word in a whole game of deception.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the game?

I think my biggest strength will be my authenticity. I do really wear my heart on my sleeve, and I love making friends and being sweet to people. I just do. Biggest weakness, I think, is that I will be having way too much fun. I'm afraid that I'm going to be too trusting, making too many friends. I feel like I'm really going to have to lock in and not blow my own cover.

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in this game?

I don鈥檛 know if you could call this a hobby, but I love a debate. I can talk my way in and out of almost anything. That is probably a strength as well. I'm pretty good at convincing people that I'm right. My mom was always like, I can't believe you're not a lawyer.

Have you heard from any of the Industry cast since the announcement you鈥檙e doing this?

Yeah, Marisa texted me and was like, "Are you joking? Amazing!鈥

Romesh Ranganathan

(Image: 91福利社/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge)

You were live on Radio 2 when it was announced you鈥檇 be taking part in The Celebrity Traitors, what has the reaction been like?

I think everyone鈥檚 surprised because a lot of my friends and family didn't think I'd ever come on a show like this. The truth is I didn't think I would do this show because I really enjoy it. It's one of those shows that's a family event in our house, so we all sit down to watch it, and those things are few and far between now. Contrary to popular belief, I do watch things and not ask to go on them! So, I was watching it, and we're having a good time, and I'd never had any aspirations of being on the show, and then my youngest son was desperate for me to come on, so it's kind of his fault.

What has your mum said?

I just want to have a fun game or whatever, that's my intention, but you know my mum is classic. 鈥淵ou better win. You have to win!鈥 She's like, it's the opposite of what you want to hear. It's not a pep talk. It鈥檚 insistent. She said 鈥淵ou have to win. I'll be thinking every day I hope he's going to win. I hope he's going to.鈥 It doesn't need to be about that. We're just going to go and have a nice time, yeah? It鈥檚 because this show is so popular and a show that my mum actually watches, that's why she's excited. When I did Live at the Apollo for the first time, she didn't watch that because she's not really a stand-up comedy fan, so she was like, oh, okay, but this! She cares about this.

How does it feel to be doing it with Rob as well?

Well, it's weird, isn't it? Because Rob is one of my best friends, and we've worked together for a decade now, but I still won't be able to trust it. I mean, he's just as easily going to be on my side as he is going to twist the knife in my back given the opportunity. I mean, it's completely unpredictable. So, it's going to be a weird thing where normally when we're doing Rob and Romesh Vs, we've got each other's backs and are helping each other out. Whereas this time, he can't be trusted. It can't be the end of the relationship because it's financially beneficial. But I think if it wasn't financially beneficial, then it could be the end of the friendship.

And vice versa, would you stab him in the back?

In a heartbeat, yeah. Yeah, I think I would. It's all fair in Traitors, isn't it?

Exactly. It's just a game.

It's just a game that has real-world implications for working relationships.

Have you got a strategy?

Not really. One of my biggest issues is that I'm not particularly observant, which isn't ideal for this game. So, I need to work on that. I need to become more of an active listener. I've got the gist. I'm a very gist guy, and in The Traitors, you can't be a gist guy. You've got to look at nuance and stuff like that. I think people are going to find it uncomfortable talking to me because I'm going to be desperately trying to pay as much attention as I possibly can.

Have you done anything special to prepare?

I've tried to. I've read sports psychology books because one of the things that I realised about this is the pressure really gets to you so that can throw your judgement off. I want to remain completely cool and calm, so I've read some books about how to try and stay chilled in moments of pressure. I don't really feel anything anyway, generally, but I think this is a specific thing.

This is your Olympics鈥

In a way, yeah.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf in this game?

Socially, I've always been a lone wolf, but that hasn't been my choice. I don't think I'm a leader, so I think I like I would describe myself as somebody who likes to play off the front man, you know? I'm in the group. I'm happy to offer my opinion, but I'm not going to take the lead unless I'm asked to. I don't think I'm worth following. Before the game starts I really need to develop some sort of self-belief.

What do you think you'd find more difficult, being wrongly accused and having to defend yourself, or having to deceive others?

Well, I was on The Jonathan Ross Show, and Joe Marler asked me if I was going to be on The Celebrity Traitors, and I knew that I was, but I also knew that I couldn't say. Even that felt really difficult. Up until that point, I thought I'd be alright at sort of lying, but now I don't. That basically shook my confidence completely. I think that one of the things that you tend to do when you're lying is really over explain. When you're trying to defend yourself, you really over explain too. So, my strategy in that regard is going to be to try and under explain. I find lying tricky.

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in the game?

If there is a music-related Mission then maybe that. I'm working on an album. That's a hobby of mine, that I keep going to a studio and laying down some bars on a hip-hop album.

Although since I've started recording it, I've lost confidence in everything I've recorded so far. So, it might never see the light of day. It might be a posthumous release.

Do you think you can win?

If it was a game that completely and solely relied on skill, then no, I don't think I could win it. But I think that it's such a thin line between an amazing game and a terrible game. The truth is, it's impossible to know. But I think that I can. I mean, it's possible. Do I think I'm going to? No.

At the start of this year, you had some pretty big news. You said you were going to unleash your inner entrepreneur. Does it feel like 2026 is a big year of trying new things?

I've got these two once-in-a-lifetime things both happening at exactly the same time, which is part coincidence, but part planned. I'm basically launching a YouTube show called the Amol Rajan Connection. You might think of it as a souped-up, even better version of the podcast I do called Radical. I'm doing that, which is going to be a huge new moment for me, and I'm launching a business to go with it.

Also, it's only once in a lifetime you're on the biggest show in the world. These two things are happening. It鈥檚 kind of a clich茅 that you only live once, but it's more this kind of feeling that life is short. You really want to make the most of it, enjoy every day and there's no such thing as tomorrow. I really, really, really want to live life to the full. And as I look at the Scottish castle, I think I am.

Why The Traitors? Have you always been a fan of the show and fancied playing?

Oh, my days, I love this show! I'm obsessed with the high gothic camp horror. I'm definitely in love with Claudia. I love the jeopardy. I love the drama. I think it is the best entertainment format of all time. I love the show, but I love the game even more. I have been obsessed for 25 years with games of psychological play, mystery and deduction so I loved The Traitors from the start, then it turned out there was a Celebrity Traitors, and it got even better. And now I'm in it, so I'm fully living the dream.

What do your friends and family make of you taking part?

I've told my son, who's ten. He knows what the show is, and he knows what I'm doing. I've not yet told the girls who are six, four, and two. Daddy's away and they don't like that very much because they're going to miss me. My wife has been absolutely amazing. She's been so unbelievably kind and supportive.

In fact, my wife sent me a message last night, just ahead of starting the game, that was the sort of message only a wife can send. It was so sweet and so supportive and so loving and so affectionate. She's been incredible about it. As for friends, my WhatsApps are melting with excitement! My mates are just made up for me.

Do you see yourself as being more of a leader, a team player, or a bit of a lone wolf, and why?

All games are a combination of skill, which is tied up with character, strategy, and luck. And so, I don't think you can overplay how much it is strategy, to the extent that there is a strategy, but I think it is about being different things at different times. I enjoy leadership and it's not so much that it comes naturally to me in terms of a personality, it's just I've done it quite a lot. I think I can be quite good at it, and I think there is a case for leadership at different times.

The thing that's quite interesting is that the incentives are so conflicting and really, it鈥檚 about taking on different roles at different times. In the end, you've got to, start as a team player and emerge as a lone wolf.

Do you think you're going to try and play your journalistic skills down a bit because people might feel a little bit guarded or worry that you might see through their gameplay?

I do think you probably need to keep your head down a bit in the beginning. I don't want to go in there and Round Table number one be Mr. Forensic Investigator! However, I do interview politicians for a living, and I really have to pursue answers to questions. In this case you could quickly put a target on your back and much of this game is all about relationships. I do think to begin with, I want to try and make friends and keep my head down.

How do how do you feel about the Missions?

I get tactics around the Round Table, and I get tactics in the castle away from the Round Table. But Missions are there to have a bit of fun. I suppose there is a bit of observing everyone and noticing if they want that shield too much..

Have you done anything to prepare for the Missions?

I've not done a huge amount. Since last summer, before I knew I was doing the show, I have been working on my fitness, but I wouldn't say I'm particularly fit. I'm a little bit stronger than I was six months ago. I'm generally quite fit. Again, it's 2026, the year of change.

Have you got any hobbies we might not know about that might be useful in the game?

I'm a sport nut, music nut. I love games. I quite like memorising things. I love committing poetry to memory and I like facts. I've got a job which involves knowing facts on University Challenge.

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

Alliances. Evolution. Victory.

I鈥檓 here to play hard. I鈥檓 also here to have fun. But I am going to play hard!

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I mean, who would ever be given this opportunity and turn it down? Can you imagine?! You鈥檇 spend the rest of your life being like, "Oh, I was the person who could have gone on The Celebrity Traitors and said no.鈥 I think this will genuinely be one of the most important, amazing experiences of my life.

What an absolute treat to be in this beautiful castle, incredible surroundings, and with some of the biggest names in the entire country playing games that a whole team have spent months planning and preparing, all whilst getting to be involved in strategy and subterfuge. I mean - amazing!

Do you like playing games generally, and are you quite competitive?

I would say I am toxically competitive. Yes, to a fault. I have to try and rein that in. This really is a team game. Especially for the Faithfuls. The only real way the Faithfuls are going to win it is if they act as a team. And I probably would rather be a Faithful.

I think it would be really fun to be a Traitor, like amazingly fun but I want to enjoy this experience as much as I possibly can for however long it lasts, and I think that I'll enjoy it more if I get to be a truer, more honest version of myself.

As a mathematician, are there any skills that you can apply to the game?

I'm here to fulfil the nerd quota for the year, and I'm taking my responsibility extremely seriously. Have I gone back through the data of all the previous games and tried to find statistically significant patterns? Yes! Are any of these going to help me? Honestly, who knows?! There is a pattern in the way that Traitors behave. For example, Traitors often do a burn vote in the first few episodes when they're settling in.

By that I mean they just vote for somebody that nobody else has voted for. Cat last year was a really good example of this, but across the board, the only problem with picking up on those signals is that the Faithfuls are such an absolute mess. They are so all over the place that it's really hard to pick out what the signal is. That鈥檚 just one example of a little bit of maths that I've got in my back pocket.

I am using the same bit of math that Alan Turing used to crack the Enigma machine. Whether it's going to work or not, honestly, your guess is as good as mine! I've got spreadsheets coming out of my eyeballs. I close my eyes and it's like there are numbers tattooed on the inside of my eyelids at the moment for how much I've been looking at them.

What do your friends and family make of you taking part?

The amount of excitement has been amazing. My kids have known for a while because I wanted to prepare them, and they have loved having this secret, and then hearing other people talk about The Traitors in school and knowing that we've got a family connection to it. It鈥檚 very sweet.

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

Careful, analytical, and well, the other thing that I really want to be is just a little bit mischievous. I really want to enjoy the ride and have fun being playful.

How do you feel about the Missions?

Great! I'm really excited. Someone has spent ages setting up the most amazing game for us. I鈥檓 definitely up for all the challenges. I鈥檓 enthusiastic if nothing else.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf?

Always a team player. Sometimes a lone wolf, I think, with my secret things. However, the thing I鈥檓 most concerned about is that I tend to get really excited about stuff and then want to share it immediately! Keeping secrets 鈥 not my forte!

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

I definitely have a public persona of being someone who is smart. I would say, people tend to think I'm smarter than I actually am, bluntly, and I don't think that's going to serve me particularly well as I may be seen as a bit of a threat.

Or an asset!

Or an asset. Yeah, I might actually try and chuck out a few false theories, so I鈥檓 seen to be a bit of an idiot and not a threat at all.

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I was promised a holiday in Scotland! I鈥檓 just here for a lovely walking holiday in The Highlands. Seriously, I鈥檇 love to have a go at the game. It's something that we've watched at home and loved.

Do you like playing games at home?

I played a similar game in Los Angeles called Werewolf, with werewolves and villagers. I was invited around by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore to go and play. I got thrown out, but nothing to do with the game, and it's a whole different story!

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

I think I want to be a Faithful. I would aspire to be a goody. Many may wish to be a Traitor, but I think that's egos wanting to play a leading role. I aspire just to be a good human being, mainly because I'm really not a good human being. It would be nice to be for once!

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

It's non-existent. It鈥檚 so hard to think about because it just really depends on who's who. I suppose the only thing to be is inquisitive in the sense of getting to know people. I always think it's a little bit foolhardy going into this with a fixed strategy because it really is all about the other players and reacting to behavior and observations.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf?

A team player.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

Yeah, it's really interesting because your public persona is invariably different from who you really are. My public persona is just this really annoying small guy, and I am actually that guy! I think people will think I'm fun and kind of jolly and there for the laughs. And I kind of think I am too. Because what else are you going to do other than try and really enjoy it? You can either become obsessive about it, or you can enjoy it along the way. Yeah, I am still here for the holiday.

You seem to thrive on a life less ordinary. Going from military career to being a pop star to buying a pub to social media sensation, will we see another side to you on The Celebrity Traitors?

You're probably right, I suppose. I鈥檝e not done a huge amount of TV. I was an X Factor judge but that's a different beast. I've done some interviews, and I really am who I say I am. The Twitter persona is really me. No one else is posting those comments.

How are you feeling about doing the Missions?

Well, they seem the silliest part of the whole show, don't they? Really, everything else is quite dark and sinister. And then watching a whole load of adults scurry around in the grass is鈥ell, it's just the silliest part of it. But at the same time, it's probably the most innocent, and so at that stage, you can just throw yourself into it with abandon.

Whether you are Traitor or Faithful, it's the part where you just throw yourself in. No one expects to be judged at that stage. They're just getting involved with everyone.

And crucially building the prize fund鈥

Exactly. That really is the team element. It's a release to the tension, a chance to come together as a team, to achieve together and it's the most innocent part of the show, the weight is lifted off shoulders and it鈥檚 just pure enjoyment.

Your fellow players may assume you鈥檒l be a real asset in physical Missions, given your background with the Army鈥

I can scurry around in ditches. I鈥檓 excellent at hiding in bushes.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the castle?

My biggest weakness definitely will be that I emit Traitor vibes just in everyday life. My greatest strength鈥 don't know. I hope to be a good Faithful, and I hope to be proactive as a Faithful and a team player in that sense. In this game, the Faithfuls do outnumber the Traitors so if we can actually attempt to unify in some way, rather than just be led down garden paths, then we do have some kind of strength.

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Well, I love the show. I have been completely obsessed. I just thought it was the best show when I first saw it, and I love playing games. I felt thrilled to be asked to be involved as I just think it's wonderful. Saying yes in life has sometimes got me in trouble, but a lot of times it's led to wonderful adventures, and I am excited to embark on this adventure.

Are you competitive?

Oh yes! I mean, I'm very competitive, as is Mick and our children. We're all very competitive. We love playing games, and everyone always wants to win. You know, if there are teams we鈥檙e then driving each other on in those teams - it would be like, why'd you do that? No, you should have done that! Such determination. I'm going to try to behave myself on the show. I'm going to try and be a good sport.

What do your friends and family make of you doing this?

I did tell my four children, and I told Mick that if any of the children had a problem, they were to call him because I was busy! My children said, 鈥淢om, don't do anything dangerous. Be careful!鈥 They worry. They鈥檙e like, "You think you're younger than you are. You and Dad are always doing things that you did in your twenties that maybe you shouldn't be doing now!鈥 You know, stuff like that.

What are you most excited about?

I think I'm quite excited about the Missions. I am the oldest person doing it, but I am quite an active person. I don't sit down much. I have a lot of animals - two dogs, a cat, three horses, eight chickens. I do a lot of gardening. I'm very, very busy, and then I babysit my three grandchildren a lot. I'm quite an active person so I think I'll be okay.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf, and why?

Well, I tend to be quite the leader when it comes to games because I'm very competitive so I can't shut up! But I'm going to try to behave if I can.

Do you have any hobbies or hidden skills we may not know of?

I鈥檝e got my skipper's licence, I have my captain's licence, I've got my winemaking certificate. I鈥檓 in the Guinness Book of Records; I'm still holding the record for performing in the most theatrical West End plays in one night. I wore costumes under costumes. It was all carefully worked out, travelling from show to show on the back of a motorcycle.

Also, I was a girls' leg wrestling champion in my school district growing up which is very popular in Texas. I come from a very athletic family. My sister Cindy was a girls鈥 champion bull rider and a saddle bronc rider, and my sister Rosie was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. We all used to train horses too and you just get bucked off all the time.

So, you're quite fearless?

I was. My competitive nature will always override any fear. I'm throwing myself into this because I want to win for my charity.

Would you like to do that as a Traitor or a Faithful?

If you are a Traitor, you know all the facts. It's a bit more powerful. That is the advantage, but I mean, all the men in my family have been law enforcement officers and in the military. My father was General Patton's staff sergeant on all his campaigns, so I think I get my organisational skills from him. He was very, very organised, and then after the military, he went into law enforcement.

All my uncles, even my nephews have been policemen. I think the detective side is in me, so I'd be quite good at that. A Faithful hunter of Traitors. However, I鈥檇 like to be a Traitor! I鈥檓 excited to play the game, whichever role I have. And to be spending this time of year in Scotland 鈥 it鈥檚 gorgeous.

Do you know anyone else on the cast?

I know Richard E. Grant. He was my neighbour for 30 years! And we did a movie together called Tooth, where we played Tooth Fairies, and it was ridiculous. We had such a laugh, and I went on holiday with him earlier this year, just after Christmas to Africa with some friends. And we danced all night. We had so much fun! Little did we know back then that we鈥檇 both be here!

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Well, when somebody comes to you and asks you to be part of something like this, you don't hesitate. I'm very, very nervous about putting myself out there in the world, being myself rather than playing a role, and giving a lot of personal information about myself because I'm too much of an open book. I just naturally give too much of myself. So, I know that this is purely about the game, and I am a super fan and have been since the first episode. I've watched all the series from all over the world. I am absolutely obsessed.

Who's your most admired player from all the series?

Okay, this might surprise you because it's not a winner but I'm going to say Nick Mohammed because I feel like Nick was very specifically himself. He made a mistake at the end, obviously, but I feel like he was kind, and he was himself. I think he played it beautifully, and as I would hope to play it as a Faithful.

So, you want to be a Faithful?

I hate it when the Traitors win. I know that everybody wants me to be a Traitor. People keep messaging me, since it was announced, and everyone's like, "Oh, you'd be a great Traitor,鈥 and I know what they mean. It鈥檚 because I seem one thing, and there's more to me than meets the eye, and I get that. But I know myself, and I know that if you hate the Traitors winning then that says something about what is your natural state.

What do your friends and family make of you taking part in this?

Everybody has been completely nuts with excitement which feels like a little bit of a burden because obviously there's always a chance that you're going to be the first to go, the second to go, and you have to be ready for that.

Do you like playing games?

I am a fair player but I'm incredibly competitive. I commit so strongly, I'm a maniac, so everyone's a bit worried about me in the Missions! I absolutely play to win. I don't mind losing. I'm not a sore loser but I give it my all. So much so I think people are genuinely quite frightened of me sometimes!

How would you describe your strategy in three words?

Traitor hunter extraordinaire.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a bit of a lone wolf?

I'm a team player.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

Well, I mean, it would be very helpful, I think, if I was a Traitor, because I think that people would assume I鈥檓 the same as Hayley from Coronation Street. Then again, I think that people may think the opposite or she's not all she seems. She's not this sweet lady. There's more to her, so I think that there might be some suspicion on me to be a Traitor.

That said, that's quite helpful in the game if you're a Faithful. You don't want to be the most faithful of Faithfuls. You need just the right amount of suspicion on you to be useful to the Traitors, so they keep you around as a distraction. If you're too faithful, you're of no use to anyone.

What do you think would be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the game?

My biggest weakness is that I'll be too trusting. My biggest strength is that I'm a good team player.

What are you going to find harder, being wrongly accused, or having to secretly deceive others if you have to?

The thing I find hardest is people being upset with me. I don't like being the cause of upset. So, if I was to banish someone who was a Faithful, and they were upset with me about it, or they didn't get banished, and approached me after to ask "Why did you put my name down?鈥 I鈥檇 find that quite hard but that's something I've got to work on because it鈥檚 all part of the game.

Why did you decide to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I've been a solo artist now for maybe four years, and I've been in this industry for 15 years. Wow, time flies! I really love the idea of just dipping my toes into different things, having new experiences, putting myself out there more, throwing myself into deep ends. This is one of those things where I'm literally stepping into the unknown. This game is out of my hands. It鈥檚 actually super nerve-wracking but I鈥檓 just so excited at the opportunity to do something like this. It's going to be fun, and I just love the game.

What have the girls said about you doing this?

I spoke to Perrie and she is so excited for me, everyone鈥檚 super excited really. I think it鈥檚 just that everyone loves the show. It鈥檚 just so big and it鈥檚 crazy. I鈥檓 feeling so grateful to be a part of it.

Do you like playing games and are you quite competitive?

I am very competitive, but I don't get to bring it out a lot. I think this is also why I'm really excited to do this game because I get to bring that side out, and this is one of those games that is so immersive, like nothing else really鈥

You鈥檙e saying all of this with a very mischievous look on your face!

Just make me a Traitor! I feel like I would make a really good one. By nature, I'm super soft, calm, sweet, and I feel like that it would be so unexpected.

How would you describe your strategy?

To be as cool as a cucumber. Cat Burns was so calm. She's my inspiration for this. I actually spoke to her as well before coming in. I love her. She had good advice, she said it might get intense around that Round Table but remember, it's just a game. So, my focus is to just keep it cool. She also said you're just going to have the best time, and you鈥檒l make so many friends. I can鈥檛 wait.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf?

A team player for sure and maybe that comes from being in a group. I've always been a team player, but then at the same time, I do think I can also take the lead role too. I think being in Little Mix, we were all very equal. There wasn't a lead singer but we all very much allowed each other to shine. So that's probably where I would now lean towards more. I can take the lead, but I am very much a team player. It鈥檚 a combination of both.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

I鈥檇 say better at telling lies because I鈥檓 very trusting. The one thing that I do is see the good in everyone so that's why I would say I'm probably better at telling a lie than spotting one.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

I think I'm at a slight advantage because people just know me as Leigh-Anne from Little Mix, and they don't really know my personality that well. It will be really amazing for me to show who I am, so people get to know me as an individual and hopefully make their judgement on that rather than what they know of me as a performer.

What's the fan reaction been like from the 鈥楳ixers鈥?

They're super excited. A lot of them are saying they don't understand how I could be on The Traitors because I'm so nice which is sweet. It's just like guys, come on! I think my good character is going to help me in this game. I do have another side of me that I feel will be coming out more in this, they鈥檒l see my competitive side and real determination.

How do you feel about the Missions?

I'm excited for them. I have a feeling they're going to put us through our paces this time around! I am very active actually, and a bit of thrill seeker.

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in the game?

Keeping fit which could be useful in the Missions. Also, we used to play similar games on tour. Really, I just love a good murder mystery.

Maya Jama

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I love the show. I watched the last celebrity series and I've always wanted to do some kind of challenge game show, but there鈥檚 never really been the right one. I spoke to Jonathan Ross because we do The Masked Singer together, and he told me I'd love it. The only thing he warned me about was not having my phone! I'm actually looking at it as a chance to have a little digital detox.

I also wanted to do something where people get to see more of my personality. I watched all the Missions last year and thought, OK... they're not too bad. I reckon I could give those a go.

So, you'd say you're going in with confidence?

I'm not the strongest physically, but I'd be annoyed at myself if I didn't throw myself into the Missions. Whatever they are, I'll give them everything.

Are you a big fan of games?

I'm definitely a Mario Kart girl. I used to love Grand Theft Auto growing up too. I like card games as well, Blackjack especially. I can't play chess, though. Everyone else in my family plays poker and I usually just sit there watching.

Are you quite competitive?

Not massively. I just want to have a laugh and enjoy the experience. If it goes well, great. Sometimes you actually do better when you're relaxed and not overthinking everything.

Is that your approach with this?

I think so. If I try too hard or start pretending to be someone I'm not, I'll probably catch myself out. Especially if I end up being a Traitor. I've met a few people in the cast, but nobody really knows me, so we're all starting from scratch. I think just being myself is probably my best strategy.

What do your friends and family think about you doing this?

When I told my mum and my best friend, they were both like, "Absolutely - go for it!" They were laughing because they couldn't picture me in that environment. They kept saying, "If someone starts interrogating you, you'll just start giggling!"

They're probably right. I'm not naturally very serious, and obviously this is a very serious game. It'll be interesting to see whether I can keep a straight face.

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

I genuinely can't decide. At first, I thought I'd rather be a Faithful, but then I started thinking, if I'm doing this experience, why not go all in? I'm also wondering what people will expect from me.

You said earlier this year that your dream acting role would be to play a villain...

I'd love to play someone who's the complete opposite of me, a proper villain or someone really evil. Maybe this is my chance to test that out.

Have you done anything special to prepare?

Not really - I wish I'd done a bit more! I've gone back and watched a few episodes, especially the Round Tables, just to see how people defend themselves and how others try to deflect suspicion.

Do you think you'll find it harder to defend yourself or deceive other people?

Definitely defending myself. If everyone came for me, I'd probably just be like, "Come on!" and then I'd start laughing because I'd be so uncomfortable. I honestly don't know how I'd cope. I don't think I'd stand much of a chance!

Do you have a strategy?

Hopefully to just build genuine friendships and make good connections. That's my starting point. If you're a Faithful, you want the Traitors to like you enough to keep you around. If you're a Traitor, you don't want anyone to suspect you. So, either way... be everyone's friend.

Are you excited for the Missions?

I've only ever done TV as myself, rather than presenting, a couple of times. The first was Release the Hounds. My mistake was not watching the show beforehand, so I ended up getting chased by the dogs! Honestly, it felt like you were running for your life.

Then I did Foxy's Fearless 48 Hours. I said, "I'll do anything. I'm fine with heights. But please don't make me bungee jump." Obviously they made me bungee jump!

So, I've done a few scary things. I wouldn't say I enjoy them, but I'll always give them a go.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player or a lone wolf?

Definitely a team player. I can step up and lead if I need to, but I'm never the first person to put myself forward. If nobody else wants to do it, I'll happily take it on. I definitely work best as part of a team.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

I'm better at spotting them. Although I've definitely been blindsided before! I think it's much easier when you know someone well, you notice when they're acting differently.

How do you think your public persona will affect how people perceive you?

I've thought about this quite a lot because I honestly don't know what people's perception of me is. If you've only watched me on Love Island, you probably just see me walking in, having a chat and sending people home!

I can be warm, but I can also be quite direct when I need to be, so maybe people won't quite know what to expect. If they've listened to me on the radio, they might have a better idea of what I'm actually like.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and biggest weakness?

My biggest strength is probably that I get on with people quite easily. My biggest weakness is probably the same thing鈥擨 can be a bit too open. I'm definitely an oversharer, and in this game you probably need to keep a few things to yourself.

How do you feel as you鈥檙e about to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

The thing is you don't know what to expect. You know? So, you can't prepare really.

Do you think it鈥檚 possible to have a strategy and do you have one?

I'm sure you can have a strategy. I mean, you'll be wrong, but it's like Mike Tyson said; 鈥渟trategy is what you have until someone punches you in the face.鈥 You can have a game plan, but ultimately you鈥檝e just got to go with it. Having watched the show, you pick up certain things. Theories, unless they're right, tend to make people look very foolish.

So, as for strategy, there are choices to be made about how you vote such as do you try and vote with the herd to stay hidden within? Or do you go rogue and pick random people? But does that draw attention? And there are 21 of us this time so that's a lot of people. It's a lot of big personalities there. There are a lot of people who in their jobs draw attention to themselves.

In here, I'm not sure how much that works for you. So, if I have a strategy, it's to begin with at least, just to try and stay hidden.

What鈥檚 drawn you to take part this time?

I鈥檓 a big fan of the show. I've loved watching all the series so far. The castle looks fantastic. I just wanted to be in the castle. I came to this area to film when I played Prince Andrew in A Very Royal Scandal, so I knew the area a bit, and it is stunningly beautiful. It鈥檚 a lovely place to be and the game is just fascinating.

I think for a show to be so popular and to grab the cultural imagination so much, it has to have the ability to go beyond what its genre is. It somehow speaks to something a bit deeper, maybe. People get so absorbed in it.

Do you like playing games generally? Are you competitive?

Yes, and I am competitive. I used to play a lot of sport when I was growing up. I now host House of Games. I love games. I love quizzes. I love all that stuff. But I've always enjoyed being the quiz master as well, because then you get to play the game, but you don't have any of the same pressure on you.

So similarly with this, when everyone asks, "Do you want to be a Traitor or do you want to be Faithful?鈥 and I can see that being a Traitor is exciting, and you're in the thick of it, and you feel like you have more control and everything. However, I think there's a lot of stress that comes with it as well. I'm not saying I want to or not. I'm just saying that I can see that that's the case. I think I wouldn't want to deny myself the opportunity to do that, but I don't think I would openly choose it. In the same way as there are some parts as an actor that I wouldn't necessarily say I want to play, but if I did play it, I'm sure I would enjoy it and get loads out of it.

Some things kind of intimidate you a little bit. You read it and think, oh, that's a really good part, but oh, that would be hard, or that would be stressful or difficult or whatever. So, I can see that with playing the part of the Traitor.

Do you think all of your acting experience prepares you for this at all? Can that be applied in taking on the role of a Traitor and treat it almost as an acting job?

I don't think so. I think that would be a mistake. I think the other people in the game and the audience can just smell when someone's not being authentic. I think you've got to be really careful about that. Obviously, there's a certain amount of role playing. It is a role whether you're a Traitor or a Faithful. I mean, that鈥檚 the problem I think with being a Faithful as well as everyone wants to show that they're a Faithful so they're acting as much as a Traitor is. So, you've got to be really careful with all that. I think again, if there's any strategy, it's just to try and be as authentic as possible.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

Well, I do think it's a disadvantage to be an actor because people immediately go, "Oh well, he pretends for a living.鈥 I don't think that is the case, because the whole point of acting is that you have to trick yourself into believing that what you're doing is true. If you are consciously aware that you're pretending or you're saying things that aren't true, then it's bad acting. It's just bad.

Just for me being an actor, I think that's a disadvantage because people are already suspicious of that. Beyond being an actor, just my persona, I don't really know what people think about me. So, I don't know if it'll help or not.

Well, we鈥檝e seen documentaries you鈥檝e made where we see you rather than a character, and we all know of your activism and good work for communities, a rather favourable trustworthy impression could be based on that鈥

But on the other hand, he's a lying actor!

You're representing Wales, of course.

Yes, am I the only Welsh person in it? I was looking and I think I am. And I'm an actual Welsh person, as opposed to someone pretending to be Welsh.

Oh yes, Charlotte from series three. What did you make of her Welsh accent?

It was really convincing because she didn't overdo it.

Are you excited for the Missions?

Yes and no. I mean, some of them are probably quite scary and physically hard. I'm not as young as I once was. I do think it will be nice to get out and about and do something together and I do like physical challenges. I also love all the kind of folk horror stuff they play with in the Missions.

Do you think you can win?

I mean, watching it, it's so random in many ways. It feels like 80% luck and chance and how things fall, but it's that 20% or whatever of being able to make the most of the moment when it comes. Whether it's the ability to get someone on your side and keep them there right to the end, so that then you can just use them, or vice versa, trusting someone when everything in you is saying not to, but you do, and it works out. We鈥檒l have to see.

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Because I think it's a most brilliant game, where even Stephen Fry's encyclopaedic knowledge of Sherlock Holmes couldn't solve the mystery. You can't have any clue. The Traitors are decided by a team of people and Claudia Winkleman, so there's nothing to go on. Pack mentality prevails, where suspicion turns into accusation.

Would you like to be making those decisions? Would you like to be a Traitor?

What's the programme called?!

Well, it鈥檚 The Celebrity Traitors. Okay, you mean business. You want to be in the driving seat.

Absolutely! I would love to be a Traitor. You have no control in real life over anything. Any chance for that would be welcome. And a little bit of mischief is always welcome.

Are you a big fan of games in general?

No, just this game.

Are you a competitive person?

Oh yes. You have to be if you're an actor. You can鈥檛 survive the profession without being so. It's too brutal.

Do you think acting skills might help you a bit in this game?

I think it'll make people more suspicious because they assume that you're a natural-born liar. Oh, you're an actor, so I can鈥檛 believe anything that you say!

Have you done anything to prepare for the Missions?

There's no preparation. Jerry Hall and I are the geriatrics of the great group. So, I鈥檓 rather hoping there will be some leeway about whether we're expected to bungee jump off the castle's wall.

Do you see yourself more as a leader, a team player, or a bit of a lone wolf?

Team player. My job is entirely about being a team player.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

Definitely at telling them.

What's the tallest tale you've ever told?

That I'm a self-assured, confident person.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive you and treat you in the game?

I've played so many villains that I assume people will think that I'm a bad egg.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and what will be your biggest weakness in this game?

My weakness will be trying to hide what I feel about somebody, and my strength is that I'm a glass three-quarters full person.

Which do you think you'd find harder, being wrongfully accused, or secretly having to deceive others?

Wrongfully accused. It's a game. It's a game. It's a game. However, when you're so immersed, and if you know you're innocent, that might be tricky.

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Because I think it is one of the best TV shows around. The figures and universal love are a testament to that. It transcends age groups and class, which I think is really important. My kids are absolutely obsessed with it, and they span ages fifteen to eight. I'm a great fan of Claudia, I think she's very good at what she does, and I think the format is brilliant.

I have been asked to do reality shows, and I don't see this as a reality show. I see this as a game and that鈥檚 what really appeals to me. Purely on a selfish note, I think if I'm able to stay or survive for a period of time, it would give people an opportunity to see that I'm not just Grant Mitchell or a man that goes around the world confronting people with guns.

When you've faced some dangerous situations in your work, does this feel like quite a joy to essentially be taking part in a grand scale game?

I was thinking whilst packing yesterday and usually if I was packing to go away for work - maybe a hostile environment, a prison or I was recently in Columbia, for example 鈥 then I have a certain amount of control over what happens. I'm the exec producer. I decide when I get on the plane. I decide when I get in the vehicle. I drive the vehicle. We鈥檙e a small tight-knit group on those shoots. Maybe three, four people maximum. Whereas this is huge and with some of the biggest celebrities in the United Kingdom and beyond.

I've got a bit of imposter syndrome going on around that. Unless you've got an ego the size of a planet, which I don't think most people have, then there's an element of: A, I don't have control over this; B, I don't want to let the side down; and C, I don't want to let my family down by making myself look an idiot.

Have you done anything special to prepare?

I watched the episodes again but until you know whether you're a Traitor or a Faithful, what can you do? You don't want to be too demonstrative in the beginning I would suggest because that could get you kicked off quickly. You don't want to play it like you're a detective and you know it all because you don鈥檛.

Faithfuls always go first because that鈥檚 just the odds when the vast majority are Faithfuls against a small group of Traitors. I think the best approach is to say unto thyself be true. Whether I鈥檓 named a Traitor or a Faithful I鈥檒l play the hand I鈥檓 dealt. There's an army saying - you control the controllable. That's the way I'm going to approach it.

How do you think your public persona will affect how others perceive and treat you in the game?

I think obviously there will be people that will only know me as Grant, and then people may have seen the documentaries, which are often quite brutal. I think people probably think that I don鈥檛 have any kind of sense of humour whatsoever, which hopefully will come out. I enjoy people. I don't think I could do my job, whether it be actor or whether it be documentary maker, if I didn't enjoy the company of human beings.

What do you think would be harder for you, being wrongfully accused or having to secretly deceive others?

I don鈥檛 think I鈥檇 like either of them but you have to accept the fact that one or both of those things is going to happen in this game. I think what you have to remember is it's not personal and just take it in your stride. If you get voted off, it鈥檚 a case of thank you very much, I did my best, it's been wonderful.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the game?

My weakness may be with some of the difficult questions; the conundrums posed in Missions. My strength hopefully would be some of the physical challenges. I'm a qualified HSE diver, so anything with water I should be able to do. I don't mind heights too much, I don't mind cold weather and stuff like that, I鈥檝e completed hostile environment training and I don鈥檛 mind being uncomfortable so I should be able to make a good contribution to Missions I鈥檇 say.

Why did you decide to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

I mean, I love the show. It鈥檚 one of those things that you can鈥檛 say no to. I鈥檝e not even started yet, and this already feels like a wild dream. It鈥檚 been crazy seeing the list of everyone else taking part.

Is it nice to be filming in Scotland?

Definitely. Oh, it鈥檚 absolutely beautiful here. I still live in Scotland, I love home and I鈥檝e probably had the shortest journey to the castle.

You carry the hopes of the nation as you embark on this game!

Oh good, well I鈥檓 glad there鈥檚 no pressure!

Would you like to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

I don鈥檛 think I鈥檓 cut out to be a Traitor really. The main reason being I don't have a good poker face. And I think that is kind of quite high up in the job description.

It is quite important...

Yeah, because the cloak's good for hiding, but you can't wear it all the time because then they can tell that you're a Traitor. I think I would be quite rubbish at that. I don't know if I'd be a good Faithful either. We鈥檒l have to see.

Do you play a lot of games generally? Would there be board games being played in your house at Christmas?

I have a lot of board games. I don鈥檛 always play them. I鈥檓 an only child and I鈥檝e always been given board games. I'm like, that's lovely, but who am I playing these with? Just me! I always let myself win. I was like, would you look at that? I win again! I鈥檓 not remotely competitive either. I've learned so far in preparation for this that I don't have a lot of good traits for this game!

Well, not necessarily, because it鈥檚 different every time because of the people taking part鈥

Exactly. And if your traits are the right traits for the other people around you, then happy days.

How would you describe that strategy in three words?

My strategy for the game is like my strategy in life, and I think it would just be - keep yourself right. That would mean I'm not going to be swayed by any peer pressure. I'm not going to just vote for someone because everyone's doing it. If I don't think it's right, I'm not going to do it. I think that might be dangerous because it might make me look guilty, but I hate that thing where people vote for someone just because everyone's doing it. I鈥檒l be true to myself, and I won鈥檛 just go along with the crowd.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf, and why?

I always try to be a team player but to my previous point I will happily go my own way if I think something is wrong. I'm not going to just go with the flow to keep the peace.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

I can't tell a lie. I'm really bad at lying. If I鈥檓 picked as a Traitor, I'd have to treat it as an acting role but be a version of me. I wouldn't be able to just relax and fully be myself because I can't lie. Even when I was little, if I'd broken something I鈥檇 immediately confess.

It's hard to tell such an honest child off

My mum said it was a nightmare. I鈥檇 tell her 鈥淚 cut off all that doll's hair because I wanted to see what it looked like,鈥 and she'd be like, "Oh well, right. You won鈥檛 be getting another doll.鈥

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the game?

My biggest strength will be that I will not be easily swayed. My biggest weakness, I think, will be that I sometimes do get a wee bit quiet when there are a lot of people. One on one, no bother. Two or three, excellent. 20 or more people 鈥 that鈥檚 a lot. You don't find me chatting away in a packed green room. I think I鈥檒l see who I鈥檓 drawn to... and hopefully they won鈥檛 murder or banish me!

Why have you signed up to The Celebrity Traitors?

The Social Circle. Yeah, it鈥檚 all about the celebrity WhatsApp group. And what an eclectic cast we have. Like you couldn't predict it. It's like lining up all my ex-boyfriends. There's no consistency to it at all. I love it. It's so frantic. It kind of has a bit of everything.

You probably know a lot of the comedians..?

We haven't been in cahoots at all. There's been no chatting because we know that we're more than willing to throw each other under the bus. So, it's not like we're making fake allegiances. They are professional entertainers, and they will absolutely kill each other off for the craic.

Are you a big fan of games generally and are you competitive?

I'm quietly competitive. I certainly don't want to be the first one out, but I'm fully aware it is a game so I'm not going to throw a tantrum and start tearing the paintings off the wall. I don鈥檛 think so anyway. Who knows what adrenaline fueled rage could come over me.

Do you want to be a Traitor, or do you want to be a Faithful?

Traitor. Of course. Who wants to be a Faithful? Boring. Snore fest. No, I want to be a Traitor. It's more craic. I have this image of the last scene. It's just me, Jerry Hall, and Claudia Winkleman, all wearing capes. Happily, quietly stroking my one chin hair because every woman has that one long chin hair. Roll the credits.

Have you done anything special to prepare?

Anything special? I got six packs of hair extensions put in. I have some skills but hair and makeup is not one of them. It鈥檚 like the way I have a deluded idea that I have a sense of direction when I don't. I think I've done my hair, and then a clip will come out, and it looks like a nest. I thought that I was going to do myself a favour by putting in hair extensions. They may drive me mad, and I鈥檒l start tearing them out鈥ike they鈥檙e a Mission. Onlookers saying 鈥榳hat鈥檚 she doing? That鈥檚 not part of this Mission.鈥 Anyway, hair aside I鈥檝e obviously watched loads of the show, but I also think it鈥檚 important not to over prepare. Also, I'm a big believer in just enjoying yourself.

How are you feeling about the Missions?

Yeah, no issues with the Missions. I mean, it'll be nice to get my steps in. I'm just back from my Australian tour, and I will say tour life isn't conducive to health and fitness. I'll probably be wheezing after four steps or something.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf, and why?

Ooh, we could get deep with this. Hmm鈥 lone wolf鈥ut I鈥檓 also a team player鈥eally, I鈥檓 a sheep. I very rarely lead. When someone asks me what your attachment style is, it just depends on what toxic situation I'm in at the time. I can swing through all sorts of attachment styles in one day.

Are you better at spotting lies or telling them?

I鈥檓 great at spotting lies. I can read body language, and I've dealt with a lot of snakes. Every time my agent looks down to the left, I'm like, liar! And he's like, "stop this please!鈥

What would be harder for you, being wrongly accused or having to deceive others?

Well, it's harder to lie than tell the truth. So, I think I鈥檇 just respond to any accusations with 鈥榟ow very dare you!鈥 or 鈥業鈥檓 shocked to my core!鈥 I鈥檓 not actually telling a lie, I鈥檓 deflecting. 鈥業鈥檓 disappointed in you thinking that!鈥 That kind of thing.

What do you think will be your biggest strength and your biggest weakness in the castle?

I talk too much. TMI! I need to keep my counsel a bit more. That鈥檚 what my mother says.

What has Vogue said about you doing this?

She's delighted. She's like, get it, girl! She said it would really be really funny if I went in fully two faced. It鈥檚 not a bad game plan.

Do you think you can win?

Sure. I have this feeling I'll either be out within seven minutes, or I'll end up going the distance. I mean, I don't really win. I'm a second placer.

King Kenny

(Image: 91福利社/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge)

Have you always watched The Traitors and wanted to take part?

Yeah. I watched a lot of the seasons. I'll be honest, after Niko went out last year, I stopped watching. But when I heard I was going to play this year I got determined to do this for Niko and avenge him! So, I鈥檝e done my homework and watched every single season, completed the first series of The Celebrity Traitors this time which was a really good show and here I am. I think as I start playing, the more I鈥檒l get into it, the more invested I鈥檓 actually going to get. Also, I'm competitive as well.

Do you like playing games generally?

I love playing games. Obviously, boxing is very competitive. I think any time there's a competitive level to something; I get more excited and interested. You've got more of an incentive there to care about it.

What are you like if you lose a game?

Bad, I get upset and I get quiet. For example, after one of my amateur fights, my favourite rapper 鈥 50 Cent - we had like a private thing with him. I didn't go because I didn't win the fight. I was upset.

Do you regret that now?

100% but I know myself and how I react to defeat. I would do it again, and probably regret it again, because I know what I'm like when I'm not in the mood. I know it's not going to be a good time, and it doesn't matter who's there. That鈥檚 how upset I was.

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

I don't know. The reason why I say I don't know is because I'm a bad liar but I'm a bad liar to friends and family. I think if it's strangers, it will be easier. If someone knows you well, they鈥檒l notice subtle things that others don鈥檛.

What do your friends and family make of you taking part in this?

First of all, they said it could either go so well or so bad. Like I said, I can't lie. Everyone can tell when I'm lying. I'll either be a really, really good Faithful because I'm a passionate, faithful person. But if I鈥檓 a Traitor? Well, it would be interesting, and no one really knows how that might be, including me. I've never done it before, and it's a task that I'll take on. I think because I don't know anyone, it'll be easier to lie. Just disassociate and play the game.

You鈥檝e prepared by watching every previous series, do you have a player that you admire in particular?

Rachel from the most recent series was incredible. A perfect Traitor. Will from the first series I thought was great. He really played the game like he was willing to step over everyone. You have to do what you have to do because at the end of the day, you're playing to win the game. You look back and what a player he was. Will and Rachel both had different playing styles, but both worked. It鈥檚 interesting.

Do you see yourself as more of a leader, a team player, or a lone wolf and why?

I think it just depends on what it is. Really, honestly, I can be a team player, I can be a lone wolf, I can be a leader. In a game like this, there are moments where you do have to be a team player. Most of all in the Missions. At the Round Table, you鈥檙e a lone wolf. You鈥檝e really got to fight for yourself if someone's suspicious of you. The premise of the game is you can't really trust anyone, so you always have that lone wolf mentality as well. Also, you have to be a leader at times when you see something that you want to speak up about and you want to encourage others into your way of thinking. That's where I guess the leadership comes into it. You鈥檝e got to speak your mind. That's why I say it's all three. And you need alliances.

Have you got any hobbies that we might not know about that might be useful in this game?

Boxing, running鈥h and I fly planes. I was going to do my license, but then COVID happened, and I wasn't able to complete it. I must return to it one day but I鈥檝e done all the lessons so I technically know how to do it...if a flying a plane Mission should arise!

How would you describe your strategy?

You have to go in there and analyse, man. I'll be honest. When I've watched a few of the series, you can come up with a strategy, but things can happen in the game that make you rethink, rejig, or make an alliance with a person. I'm the sort of person that I鈥檒l get in there, analyse, and then I鈥檒l play the game from there. I don't dwell too much in the strategy because things can change.

Rob Beckett

(Image: 91福利社/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge)

Why are you taking part in The Celebrity Traitors?

Me and my family loved the first one. I watched it with the kids. It's first thing we watched as a family that we all enjoyed at the same time. We watched the final together on holiday and had a great time. So, the family are all behind me and really happy and supportive.

Do you enjoy playing games and are you competitive?

I wouldn't be the kind of person to go; let's all play a ball game. I'd probably be like, "do we have to?鈥 That said, once I'm in it, I'll be competitive because there's no point doing the game if you don't want to win it. I think I'll just find the whole scenario hilarious because it's just so surreal to be around that group of people, and to be with a few people I know. Romesh, obviously everyone knows we鈥檙e such good friends, but Joe Lycett and James Acaster, I did gigs with them nearly 20 years ago, in pubs in Soho in front of eight people, and now all of a sudden we're in this situation. So, it's quite a reflective moment to consider this journey we鈥檝e all gone on to now be on the biggest show on TV. Everyone wants to be on it, and we're very lucky to be here and to be here with friends and people that I've come through the ranks with and been able to confide in over the years. It's quite nice to see all of us here as grown-ups.

That鈥檚 really nice. At the same time, do you think you'd be able to betray any of them in the game?

Oh yes, if it鈥檚 part of the game. And I鈥檇 expect vice versa. If I get done, I get done. I'll be competitive, but if I get murdered or banished or whatever the situation is, of course I鈥檒l be disappointed for a minute, and then I'll think, do you know what? I'm going home and I鈥檝e got a couple of weeks off!

Do you want to be a Traitor or a Faithful?

Claudia knows who will be best suited to make it a great game, and I want it to be a great game. So, I'd happily be either. Claudia and the producers are the experts in this, not me, but I'm very happy to do both, and I鈥檝e got no qualms about killing people off.

How would you describe your strategy in three words if you've got one?

In the moment.

Well, you do often have to be adaptable in this game鈥

Exactly. Do trust your gut in the moment because you can overthink and over prepare, and then what I've got is panicked rehearsed lines and that's not just in this game. In life, the best things I've ever said have never been planned. That's the case with my stand-up. Anything I prepare and write is always rubbish. The best stuff is what I write on stage, in the moment. Being on stage is like being at the Round Table. You're performing to an audience. And you're having to say things to get them to behave in a certain way.

Do you think you鈥檇 find it easier to deceive people or to defend yourself when questioned?

I think I'll be good at deflecting with humour naturally because that's what I've been trained to do. My problem is you know what I'm thinking by looking at my face. So, I think I'm in trouble because I tell everyone everything with my expressions alone鈥nd then I am very chatty. If I have a big secret of being a Traitor, then I may just give it up straight away. I could be the fastest Traitor out in history. I'll probably just get a tap of the shoulder and get up and go: 鈥淵ou鈥檒l never guess what just happened to me!鈥 and off I go which actually could be a great moment. No, I wouldn't do that. But I don't know鈥 You'll never know until you get in there. On the other hand, I'm very chatty and talk all the time, which I think could be helpful because it's constant information to people.

Are you going to be quite wary of the quiet ones?

That might be me to start off with. I think I'm going to try and keep my head down for the first couple of things, but if I feel like I have to respond to something I will. I'm not going in with a big strategy of I'm doing this and doing that if I'm this or that, I've got no plan.

Would you describe yourself as a leader, a team player or a lone wolf in this game?

I am visible at all times, everywhere I go, whatever I do. As much as I try telling myself maybe you just sit and breathe, Rob. I can't help it. I'm just always dragged into the middle of it. I'd say I'm a team player, and I like to look after people and not lead, but I like to make sure everyone's alright. I'm quite happy for someone to lead the group, and I'd be a part of that. And I鈥檓 certainly not a lone wolf. I'm too chatty to be a lone wolf. I can't. I'm not going to do alliances and all that. Let's see. 鈥榃ill you be in an alliance?鈥 is like asking someone to go out on a date!

Have you got any hobbies we might not know about that could be useful in the game?

Really good at Lego. Really quick at that. Might help if there鈥檚 a puzzle鈥 Really the only skill I鈥檝e got is talking.

You鈥檝e tried your hand at all sorts of challenges on Rob and Romesh Vs, you didn鈥檛 pick anything up there?

Yeah, but we鈥檙e rubbish at all of them. I'm comfortable being crap at things. I tell you what, my skill is being comfortable being crap at something on telly!

Why have you decided to take part in The Celebrity Traitors?

It's a good question, and one that now I'm here I'm even more sure of, which is that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I play it at home with my family at Christmas, my birthday party in December before I found out I鈥檇 be on the show was Traitors themed, and it's just the most amazing game. To be with a bunch of my heroes in a castle with Claudia is wonderful. In the first series when they arrived at the graves and she stood there with the word celebrities in quotes on her back, I was screaming at the screen! Sometimes you've just got to go; I have this opportunity, and I must do it. It鈥檚 so camp and like nothing else. I'm someone who watches and judges other people on what they're doing. It's really scary now it鈥檚 me though. It feels like a slight leap of faith.

You鈥檝e played at home, judged previous players, are you embarking on this with a strategy?

I mean, I've played this game a lot with friends and family. I'm very much hoping that the fact that most of the cast don鈥檛 know me will work to my advantage. You have to just be very in the moment I think. I've done as much studying and as much practicing as I can. I went to see a lady who read my tarot, my astrology, crystals, the lot! I couldn鈥檛 possibly tell you any of it, it would ruin what鈥檚 going to happen.

Sounds positive...?

Sagittarius. By the way. I鈥檓 kidding! That鈥檚 how much I am thinking about this game though. If there's a chance, if there's someone who claims to be able to read the tea leaves, then tell me what they鈥檙e saying immediately!

Literally, give me the tea!

Exactly. But my strategy is to very much play the fun friendly vibes; I'm just here for a good time, I'm nice, let's be friends. I already feel like I've won in terms of just being here and getting to play my favourite game properly with Claudia.

You say you鈥檝e played as a family, what do they make of you doing this?

Oh, I genuinely think my brother might throw up, he鈥檚 so stressed for me and excited. We've played together so many times that he's talked through every strategy, every series, what happened and when. Last night, I was reading through the long list of laws of the game. And all the twists there have been 鈥 the deadlock, the Chest of Chance, the dagger giving a player two votes at the round table! Nice. Evil. Fabulous.

Do you want to be a Traitor?

Between us, yes! Getting to go in the turret would be the coolest thing ever. That said, I think I'd have a lot of fun being a Faithful. I think the big part of this game is just accepting that I have no control over these things but then also planning for every outcome. I think the best course of action, the dream scenario for me, is to be a Faithful and then get recruited. It means that for the beginning part of the game you can have genuine conviction in your Faithfulness.

Are you better at telling lies or spotting them?

Probably telling. Spotting lies is so difficult. It's so dependent on your own relationships with people. One of the other things I'm excited about is this will be the first time I'm playing with people who, on the whole, don't know me and don't know how I work. I've played with the same group so many times that people hold grudges from previous games, or they're like, oh, you're an actor, how can I trust a word you say?

You know Bella though, don鈥檛 you?

I love Bella! Imagine us in the turret together. That would be the dream.

Finally, what three words would best describe what we can expect from you as you start the game?

Earnest, collected and unapologetic.
