91福利社 Contains Strong Language, 91福利社 1Xtra and 91福利社 Asian Network present the Words First Summer Showcase celebrating the most talented poets and spoken word artists aged 18-30 from across the UK.
This free event of world class poetry, available to watch on 91福利社 iPlayer, will feature one of the most recognisable British Asian spoken word artists, Hussain Manawer, 2020 Words First Ambassador.
Following professional mentorship, Abena-Essah Bediako, John Bernard, Rheima 鈥楳imz鈥� Robinson, Jardel Ricardo Rodrigues, Damani Dennisur, Saili Katebe, Corey Peterson, Courtney Conrad, Francis Mukiibi, P.A.Bitez, Michael Mullen, and Sanjna Girish Yechareddy have been selected to perform. Six poets will go on to be selected as Words First 2020 Finalists.
