Shostakovich鈥檚 Eleventh Symphony is a pulse-raising experience that depicts events of the 1905 Russian Revolution with all the sweep and emotional impact of a film score. The 91福利社 SSO is joined by students from the RCS and the Conservatoire鈥檚 Visiting Professor of Conducting for this roof-raising work.

Before then RCS Leverhulme Conducting Fellow Emilie Godden directs Richard Watkins and the 91福利社 SSO in Gli猫re鈥檚 gleaming Horn Concerto, and the concert opens with a brand-new work by RCS composition student Mingdu Li, winner of the Walter & Dinah Wolfe Memorial Prize.

*Emilie Godden will conduct Reinhold Moritzevich Gli猫re's Horn Concerto in B flat major.
