Mar铆a Due帽as is the youthful soloist in Shostakovich鈥檚 Soviet thriller of a Violin Concerto and there鈥檚 a UK Premiere, too, from Canadian composer Samy Moussa. Then get ready for blast-off as our double-orchestra brings John Adams鈥� high-octane masterpiece to vivid life, inspired by his dream of an oil tanker sailing into the San Francisco sky.
