Five aspiring filmmakers have had their ideas selected and been awarded 拢5000 each to make a music-based short film. The films will be premiered at the 91福利社 Electric Proms festival in October and online on 91福利社 Film Network, before commencing a UK festival tour.
The winners of 91福利社 New Music Shorts 2007 were chosen from 456 entries and will make their film under the guidance of experienced producers from Warp Films. Each film is inspired by music from four leading independent record labels - Domino Records, 679 Recordings, Warp Records and Ninja Tune.

Track: 'Bad Is As Bad Does' by The Earlies (679 Recordings)
Synopsis: A satire on what happens behind closed doors at a G8 summit on world poverty.
John Thole
Track: 'Farewell Farewell' by Gravenhurst (Warp Records)
Synopsis: A man in a costume makes his way to a party in a field, where he finds himself turned upon.
