New opportunity: tender for religious events
We've published an invitation to tender for our annual religious events broadcast at Christmas and Easter, including Easter Live Worship, Carols from King's and Christmas Day Live Worship. The 91¸£ÀûÉç Comedy Festival 2026 is taking place in Liverpool on 13 - 14 May with a series of talks, panel discussions, screenings, short film nights, live comedy shows and networking events for industry professionals and beyond. Eight-month placement-based training programme to kick-start careers in TV for those from groups traditionally underrepresented in the industry. Alongside training, applicants are placed within Scottish production companies as researchers, edit assistants or production assistants to gain valuable skills and experience. We’re putting the production of 91¸£ÀûÉç One series Crimewatch Live out for competition, as well as a range of religious events including Easter Service Live, Urbi Et Orbi: The Pope's message from the Vatican, Carols from Kings, Midnight Mass Live, Christmas Morning Live and The Archbishop of Canterbury’s New Year’s Day message. -
New opportunity: documentaries for 91¸£ÀûÉç YouTube deepwatch channel
We’re commissioning 20 standalone documentaries for our new YouTube documentary channel deepwatch, aimed at engaging 16–24 year-olds across the UK. Each film will be a minimum of 25 minutes long and we’re inviting production companies based in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or the English regions to pitch their ideas now. The 91¸£ÀûÉç Comedy Collective - open for applications
Comedy bursary scheme offering emerging writers, producers, directors and editors paid shadowing opportunities on 91¸£ÀûÉç comedy productions, production mentors and £5k grants to help develop new material. Previous winners have received script commissions, produced successful TV and radio shows and won BAFTAs. Deadline for applications: 6 May -

We’re looking for a new visualised podcast with broad appeal to build on the success of the popular 91¸£ÀûÉç series Race Across the World that will amplify the brand across 91¸£ÀûÉç Sounds and 91¸£ÀûÉç iPlayer. 91¸£ÀûÉç Wales, 91¸£ÀûÉç Network, and Creative Wales are joining forces to co-fund the development of a major new factual entertainment series from production companies with a substantive base in Wales.
