Hit 91¸£ÀûÉç comedy Gavin & Stacey, which put the Welsh seaside town of Barry firmly on the map, scooped the award for best comedy show at last night's .

There was further success as the 91¸£ÀûÉç Cymru Wales produced Doctor Who won the best family drama prize - with actress Karen Gillan, who made her début this year as the Doctor's assistant Amy Pond, on hand to accept the award.
