What's it all about?
Saffron Rays restaurant has been serving听top quality Bengali and Asian cuisine to Silver Street locals for over 30 years. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and friendly and the food is reasonably priced - a combination that's helped Saffron Rays to survive, despite stiff competition from the newer canalside eateries.听
Mani appointed Kuljit Singh as manager when he went on an extended trip to India, helped (or hindered) by Vinnie. Now听Kuljit's gone Vinnie's in charge but听Mani keeps a close eye on his wayward nephew.听But as long as Pradeep Chauhan remains in charge of the kitchen you're guaranteed to get some fabulous food.

Did you know?
Saffron Ray's was established by the well-known tabla player Mani Ray. Mani played with lots of bands in the '60s and '70s, including The Beatles.
