The bridge cab

The Transporter Bridge is one of only about 11 such structures still operating in the world. The cradle travels between the two banks of the river in just two minutes. In this view you can see what most people never do: the inside of the driver's cab

The photo was taken close to the south bank of the Tees, at the beginning of the journey to the Port Clarence side, with Paul acting as driver.
