I take my hat off to the organisers for the amount of effort it must have taken to bring together all we witnessed at the 2008 festival , we were given Americana in all its various guises ,warts and all, many hair standing up on the back of the neck moments. Can't wait for 2009 festival.

Don't believe the moaners! Absolutely unique little festival for those who love this music.I would have put up with all sorts of discomfort to experience that Sam Baker session on the Saturday night & Eilen Jewell was a treat. Thankyou and congratulations to the organisers and I can't wait until this year's event.

Fantastic array of musical talent and diversity (even though nearly all of the artists are 'Americana' or 'Alternative Country' the rich, varied styles offered something for everyone). The location and, setting and organisation superb however a shower or hot running water facility would not go amiss-luckily weather in August 2008 was excellent; might find it a struggle in our inclement English climate. I have lots of photo/pictures, some are outstanding. Happy to provide evidence and really looking forward to returning to Easton Park Farm for the next Maverick Festival. PS caught Hot Club of Cowtown at Wavendon Stables last year. Not to ber missed!! Terry Ben.XX
