John Rattray was Bonnie Prince Charlie鈥檚 personal physician during the Jacobite uprising, which culminated in Culloden. John was captured soon after and sentenced to be executed, but fortunately his good friend and golfing companion Lord President Forbes intervened on his behalf and he was released.
