1. Circuit Assembly
Each of your robots is battery powered. A battery, properly known as an electric cell, provides power by converting chemical energy into electrical energy. An electric circuit is created when the cell is connected to an electrical device such as a motor so that a current of electricity flows between them.

This circuit diagram uses a sensor switch. Every time the sensor switch is pressed it closes to create a continuous flow of energy to the motor. It is the electrical energy in this circuit that powers your robot’s motor and IQ controller board. A switch on the circuit is used to turn the current off and on.
