Cutting the cloth
Tailoring is very much a male profession but there are a few females in the business.听Yorkshire born Imtaz Khaliq听is London's first female tailor. She set up her business in the听capital听sixteen years ago. Since then her work has not only attracted a healthy client base but also a fair share of curiosity from those interested to know how a woman fares in a traditionally male dominated profession with a mostly male clientele. Anna McNamee met听Imtaz and some of her clients. |
